For clients
Find the service category that fits your needs, review available providers and discuss your requirements directly.
ABOUT IT-GUY
IT-Guy helps people and businesses discover independent IT providers and freelancers across South Africa. Browse providers directly or start with a service category — from web development and automation to cloud systems and IT support. Basic provider listings are free and subject to review.
THE IDEA
Not every business needs a large agency. Sometimes you need a developer for a website, a specialist to automate customer messaging, or a reliable person to keep your systems running. IT-Guy helps make those connections easier.
Find the service category that fits your needs, review available providers and discuss your requirements directly.
Showcase your services and make it easier for potential clients to understand what you do.
Any independent IT professional or business can apply for a basic listing, whether or not they have an Xii Group account or use Xii Group services. Listings are free, subject to review, approval and the directory’s content and conduct requirements. Optional verification tiers and Xii Group provider benefits have separate eligibility rules.
FROM INTEREST TO LISTING
Send your contact details, service category and a clear description of the IT services you provide.
Our team reviews your application and profile information. Where verification is required, submit the relevant identity, address, company or technical qualification documents through your private provider portal.
Once your application and listing are approved, clients can discover your services and send enquiries. Keep your profile current, respond professionally and review each project request before committing.
PROVIDER BENEFITS
Present your services, skills, portfolio and contact options in one professional profile. An approved listing makes your information easier for prospective clients to review. Basic listings are free and subject to approval and directory rules.
Give prospective clients a clearer view of your services, skills and experience. Where a verification badge is shown, review its exact tier and meaning rather than assuming every aspect of a provider’s work is guaranteed.
Make it easier for interested clients to ask about a project. Enquiries are not guaranteed, and you remain responsible for agreeing on scope, pricing, delivery and support with each client.
IT-Guy does not guarantee enquiries, contracts or income. Keeping your profile accurate, specific and current gives prospective clients a clearer basis for deciding whether to contact you.
UNDERSTAND THE BADGES
Tiers communicate which provider details and evidence IT-Guy has reviewed. Levels 1–3 are assigned automatically from the verification information on file. Level 4 requires a tier-upgrade request and manual review. No tier guarantees service quality, project outcomes or future compliance.
The basic profile is live in the directory. Account registration is complete, but identity, address, and qualifications remain unverified.
For individuals and solo technicians. Personal identity, such as a South African ID or passport, has been officially verified. Address and technical qualifications remain unverified.
For IT companies and managed service providers. Company registration and organisation details, such as CIPC documentation, have been officially verified. Address and technical qualifications remain unverified.
Identity and formal technical qualifications have been submitted and verified. Examples include an IT degree, diploma, or industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco or AWS.
Identity, physical business address and high-level technical qualifications or vendor accreditations are fully verified, backed by evidence of multi-site capability or operational scale.
Request only: submit the Tier Upgrade Request form in the provider portal. Level 4 is not automatically assigned.
The latest verified evidence on file determines automatic Levels 1–3. Changes to identity, company verification or qualifications can change the assigned level. Level 4 is subject to additional review.
